ABOUT
Angavikalar Grameenabhivruddi Haagu Shikshana Samsthe (R) was registered on 19 May 2015 under Sections 51 and 52 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995. The organization works in and around Koppal District. Our activities include distributing assistive equipment to persons with disabilities and providing sewing machines to economically poor women. We have also implemented maternity care programs for women in Kushtagi Taluk. The organization has formed 388 Self-Help (SAG) groups, each consisting of 15 members, and provides tailoring training to these groups to support livelihood development. To date, we have reached more than 10,000 beneficiaries.

To provide especially abled people with basic training and later getting them placed which inturn gives them a confidence in leading a confident, happy and successful life.
Distribution of groceries kit at Kushtagi

We distributed 50 groceries kit during the COVID 19 crisis. During the pandemic situation many livelihoods were at staked as they had no availability towards work as well as food. Keeping this in mind our organization took a small step towards it and distributed around 50 grocery kits at Kushtagi taluk in Koppal district. This activity saw a great success.
Awareness program for pregnant ladies

Awareness program on breastfeeding and motherliness was conducted in order to create awareness among the pregnant women as to how important is breastfeeding and motherliness for a new born.This program saw a great success and the ladies there clarified their doubts and showed great interest.
Program regarding Gender equality

The people were given awareness and advise from doctors on gender equality in Government school from 8 AM to 4 PM in Kaligari Village. This program's main intention was towards promoting girl's education and to give them the independent life such that they are able to face the society equally as men do.
